The Cleveland Indians today agreed to terms with
their 1st Round selection (14th overall) in this year's amatuer player draft, Trevor Crowe. Crowe, who was named Co-PAC-10
Player of the Year following an outstanding season at the University of Arizona, leading his team to the NCAA College World
Series, participated in his first professional workout at Jacobs Field following the contract signing.

Drew Stubbs, the Reds' 1st Round selection in the
2006 amatuer player draft (#8 overall), began his professional career last night with the Billings Mustangs. Stubbs,
a standout collegian whose amatuer career included a NCAA Championship and a gold-medal with Team USA in the World University
Championships, is expected to move quickly once he makes adjustments to the pace of the professional game.

to two runs in his major league debut and Josh Hamilton
drove in two runs in a 3-2 Texas Rangers
win Tuesday. Harrison (1-0), recalled from Class AAA Oklahoma, scattered five hits and a walk over seven
innings. He struck out one.

On September 1, 2008 the Seattle Mariners
purchased Thomas' contract from Triple-A Tacoma. Thomas made his major league debut on September 1, 2008, taking on the Texas Rangers. In one inning of work, he gave up no runs on no hits, walking
none and striking out Marlon Byrd to end the game.

Donnie Veal, selected in last year's Rule 5 Draft, made his Major League debut tonight for versus the St. Louis
Cardinals...and was it ever memorable! Veal entered the game in the 5th inning, with the Pirates trailing 8-1.
The first batter he faced, Yadier Molina, homered on Donnie's third big league pitch. Then, after striking out Joe Thurston
and Kyle Lohse, Veal issued four-pitch walks to Skip Schumaker, Colby Rasmus, and Albert Pujols to load the bases. Veal
ended any further threat by quickly returning to form and striking out Chris Duncan to end the inning, making his final line
for the inning 0-0, 9.00, 3 BB, 3 SO.

Drew Stubbs, the Reds' 1st round selection in the
2006 draft, made his Major League debut in centerfield for the Reds Wednesday night, going 2-4 with a double (his 1st ML hit)
in the 3rd inning. He followed up a solid debut with 10th-inning heroics the following day, hitting a walk-off home
run (his 1st ML HR) in the bottom of the 10th to give the Reds the win over the San Francisco Giants.

Pettit, one of the Angels' top outfield prospects
and a former Angels' Minor League Player of the Year, debuted as a pinch runner and remained in the game as a late-inning
defensive replacement in the outfield against the White Sox. Pettit, whose bat and speed have ranked him among the
most consistent offensive players in the Minors since he was drafted in the 19th round of hte 2006 draft, will provide
needed depth off the bench in preparation for an extended role with the big league club next season.
